Are you an experienced Site Supervisor or Site Manager, from a joinery/carpentry or fit-out background, looking to take on a role with a leading UK-wide company? Our client, a well-established firm with multiple office locations across the UK, is looking for multiple dedicated professionals to oversee a major project in Edinburgh.

The Role

As a Site Supervisor/Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and safety. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing trades and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. This role will focus on multiple high-rise residential projects, with work primarily dedicated to improving fire safety compliance across these developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee site setup, progress, and completion, ensuring all work meets industry and client standards.
  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring all work is certifiable and compliant.
  • People Management: Coordinate trades and subcontractors, resolving issues, motivating teams, and maximising productivity.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Attend pre-start meetings, provide regular progress updates, and ensure effective on-site liaison.
  • Health & Safety: Implement company H&S policies, conduct regular site audits, and ensure all safety procedures are followed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing construction projects on-site
  • Ideally from a joinery/carpentry or fit-out background
  • Experience working on high-rise residential projects, particularly in fire safety compliance, is desirable, but not essential
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget

Package Details:
