We are looking for a Meeting & Events Waiter/Waitress to join our family. We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and has previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment. This role will be reporting into the Meetings & Events Assistant Manager.

Location: The Rubens at the Palace Hotel

Employment type: Full time

Working pattern: 5 days on, 2 days off depending on the business/events

Key Responsibilities of a Meetings & Events Waiter/Waitress:

  • Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Help look after events and meetings, including setting up function spaces/rooms.
  • Be fully familiar with all menu items and products available to offer informed recommendations and answer guest questions.
  • Ensure tables are cleaned, set up to the highest standards, and maintained throughout the service period.
  • Engage with guests and provide attentive service, ensuring every experience is memorable.
  • Maintain all food service areas to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with hotel standards.
