Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Front Office Manager:
- Supporting the Front Office Manager in leading, motivating and developing the front office team.
- Ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations across reception, guest services and night operations.
- Acting as Manager on Duty during evenings, weekends and peak periods as required.
- Maintaining Forbes and Red Carnation service standards at all times.
- Overseeing guest journeys from arrival to departure, including VIPs and repeat guests.
- Handling guest feedback and complaints with professionalism, sensitivity and care.
- Working closely and effectively with concierge, housekeeping, reservations and food & beverage departments.
- Supporting training, performance management and development across the department.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager or Duty Manager within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with a hands‑on approach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
