Founded by international football player Thomas 'Hal' Robson-Kanu, The Turmeric Co. is one of the fastest-growing health brands in the UK. We make a range of 100% natural, potent, on-the-go drinks that support the health and wellbeing of people in all walks of life. Perfected for over 20 years and backed by science, our award-winning formula has supported the wellness of over 10,000 people across the UK, and is stocked in the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury's, Selfridges, Whole Foods and Planet Organic. From our HQ in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, we produce every shot ourselves using only raw, functional ingredients - no additives, no sweeteners, no compromises.
The role involves recruiting a commercially sharp National Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of national retail accounts and drive new business across grocery, convenience and online. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a proactive operator who pairs excellent account management with a real hunger to win new distribution. You'll build and deliver robust joint business plans, own forecasting and promotional planning for your accounts, and turn data and insight into profitable growth across both branded and private label ranges - working cross-functionally to ensure flawless execution in store and online.
The responsibilities include:
- Own and grow a portfolio of national accounts, developing existing customers and delivering volume growth in line with investment and profitability targets.
- Unlock incremental distribution for our branded and private label ranges.
- Build, implement and review joint business plans and promotional plans that grow market share and strengthen long-term customer partnerships.
- Own the internal supply of information for your accounts - monthly forecasts, volume and investment budgets, promotional evaluations and regular account updates.
- Analyse EPOS, loyalty and market data to interpret account performance, translating insight into action with internal teams and retailer partners.
- Communicate business news to your accounts, including new product launches, price changes and supply or packaging updates.
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, marketing, finance and NPD to drive commercial delivery.
- Act as a brand guardian for The Turmeric Co., championing the functional wellness category and spotting opportunities across the business.
The skillset required includes:
- Proven FMCG sales experience across branded, own label and third-party manufacturing.
- A track record of strong performance in grocery retail, convenience or e-commerce - ideally within health & wellness or functional drinks.
- Skilled at building energising customer relationships and delivering growth through joint business planning, forecasting and insight-led selling.
- Strong commercial understanding of retail levers - from margin and promotional strategy to trade investment and innovation sell-in.
- A sharp analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting EPOS and retailer data and turning it into commercial action.
- Proactive and self-sufficient in developing and closing new business while managing existing accounts day to day.
- High attention to detail and strong accountability for plans, actions, delivery and outcomes.
The person should be a hands-on operator with a "make it happen" attitude, entrepreneurial, resourceful and biased toward action, commercially sharp and data-disciplined, energised by ownership and driving growth, and passionate about wellbeing and the functional drinks category.
The benefits include being part of a mission-driven, founder-led health brand, taking ownership of a growing portfolio of national customers and helping scale one of the UK's fastest-growing functional drinks brands, a high-autonomy role with real ownership and impact, and career progression as the business grows.
