Cleaning Technician (Restoration)

Do you enjoy cleaning? Have experience in cleaning and looking to expand your career? The Cleaning Technician is responsible for assisting in the restoration cleaning process. This includes structure cleaning, content cleaning, pack-in and pack-out procedures, and inventory control. Janitorial experience is a plus. You will work on varied and interesting projects, including mold and mildew remediation or disaster recovery (emergency response). Participation in an on-call rotation or responding to emergency calls when off-duty may be required.

Essential job functions include (but are not limited to):

• Inventory of both cleanable and discard content.
• Onsite and warehouse cleaning of contents and/or structures.
• Inventory control.
• Ensure items are packaged securely.
• Light demolition work.
• Cleaning of carpets, upholstery, and drapes.
• Potentially stripping and waxing floors.
• Laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and packaging.
• Working in undesirable environments (water, disaster sites, etc.).

Note: The Cleaning Technician may also perform tasks such as responding to water damage calls, setting equipment, demolition, or assisting carpenters, instead of cleaning.

Requirements:

• Current, valid PA Driver\’s License with a good driving record and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Clean background check.
• Dedication, availability, communication skills, versatility, cooperation, attention to detail, and ability to work within deadlines.
