Technical Project Manager β Delivery Manager
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Location: 1 week in Galway office, 3 weeks working from home
Rate: β¬400 β β¬470 per day
THE EXPERTISE WE\βRE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelors or Masters\β degree in a Technology related field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
- Proven experience in product management and agile development methodologies, designing, developing and maintaining dynamic products and solutions.
- Strong background in stakeholder management.
- Partners across Engineering, Architecture, and business to align on strategic decisions, solution development and work priorities, ensuring best-in-class engineering and analytics are at the core of our product solutions.
- Experience working with both mainframe, Cloud and distributed technologies a plus.
- Take an open-minded approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered.
- Grasp sophisticated product features and break them into clear and concise requirements with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria and optimally communicate these.
- A strong focus on tactical execution and continuing progress through impediment identification, communication and removal.
- Comfortable leading, influencing, and motivating team members without formal authority.
- Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills with business and technology partners and leaders at various levels.
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration experience by establishing and maintaining unquestioning relationships across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes.
- You are intellectually curious and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring and coaching.
- Financial services experience preferred.
- Jira and Jira Align experience preferred.
Scope of Work
This position is effectively a Product Owner / Product Manager position. Managing the product roadmap, forecasting, influencing execution, and driving product success.
Experience in iterative SDLC is important β team is in sprint rhythm. Tooling β Jira, Jira Align, Confluence. Stakeholder management β collaboration amongst domain, engineering, Chapter and Product Areas is vital for success. Strong communications skill and confidence are key.
