Year 4 Teacher, Rotherham (S25), Contract Type: Temporary
We are recruiting on behalf of a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in the Rotherham area facilitated by Trust Education.
Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in a Year 4 class
- Planning, preparing, and assessing learning in line with the primary curriculum
- Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Working closely with teaching assistants, staff, and parents to support pupil progress
- Providing high-quality teaching that supports pupils of all abilities and learning needs
- Contributing positively to the wider school community during the placement
Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Year 4
- Be passionate about inspiring and supporting childrens learning and development
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have a proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning
- Be adaptable and confident teaching across different year groups if required
