Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Achieved at least grades A-C (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
  • Experience of working with children in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • Experience of taking groups and a whole class on your own
  • A proven track record of working with small groups in an educational setting and the ability to show evidence of impact on children's attainment through the use of interventions
  • Be very well organised, have great communication skills and an enthusiasm for supporting children of all abilities
  • Good ICT skills
  • A positive and proactive approach when supporting learning and behaviour
  • Work well under pressure and achieve set targets
  • An understanding of the role of Teaching Assistant and other professionals working in the school
