We are looking to appoint an organised, approachable and highly motivated EHCP Administrator to join our friendly 4-19 broad-spectrum specialist school. You will play an important role in ensuring that Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes run smoothly and that families, staff and local authorities receive accurate, timely information. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail and a commitment to making a difference for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. The core purpose of the role will be:

  • Coordinate the administration of EHCP annual reviews, including meeting arrangements, reports, paperwork and deadline tracking
  • Maintain accurate and confidential EHCP records, documentation and correspondence
  • Support the administrative preparation of school responses to local authority placement consultations, gathering relevant information for senior leader review
  • Collate and organise paperwork, evidence and document bundles for SEND tribunal matters under the direction of the SENDCo and senior leaders
  • Communicate professionally with parents and carers, local authorities, school colleagues and other professionals

The role is administrative: professional judgements about provision, consultation responses and tribunal positions remain with the SENDCo and school leadership. The post is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only. Further details about the job role can be found in the accompanying job description and person specification.
