We’re building a kitchen that tastes of where it is: Yorkshire growers, local producers, the seasons setting the menu. We’re looking for a chef to lead it and to own the food. You’ll set the menu, build the dishes and run the kitchen, with the autonomy of a head chef and a group investing seriously behind you.
You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, seasonal dishes that showcase the best of our local suppliers, and delivering an exceptional, but simple food offer that enhances the visitor experience.
- Lead menu planning, recipe development and how every plate looks when it lands
- Cook to a consistently high standard and hold the kitchen to it
- Run a clean, efficient, organised kitchen - ordering, stock, prep
- Be responsible for the hygiene standards in your kitchen
- Build genuine relationships with our local suppliers and growers
- Keep us watertight on food safety, hygiene and health & safety
- Champion seasonality and sustainability, working to reduce waste significantly
An experienced chef who’s run a real kitchen and can prove it:
- Genuinely creative about menus and build menus around what visitors actually want
- Confident across food safety and kitchen best practice
- A natural leader who can lift a small team rather than just direct it
Benefits:
- A share of the venue tips
- Daytime hours, no evenings - a hospitality job you can have a life around
- A kitchen you genuinely get to lead and shape
- High-quality, local, seasonal produce to work with
- 40% staff, friends & family discount across the group
