We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Science, ideally with a Physics specialism. However, we would also warmly welcome applications from Biology specialists who are willing and able to deliver Physics at Key Stage 4. You will be committed to securing the very best outcomes for pupils, and if this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you. You will be able to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, and will adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners.

This is a permanent full‑time role, starting from 1 September 2026.

You will:

  • Be an excellent practitioner with a passion for Science.
  • Ideally be a Physics specialist, or a Biology specialist who is confident and willing to deliver Physics at KS4.
  • Be a creative, talented and dynamic teacher who places children at the heart of their teaching.
  • Be forward‑thinking, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be willing to support the aims and vision of Catholic Education within the school and the wider Trust.
  • Be committed to raising standards and have a positive approach to behaviour management.
  • Be determined to make school life a positive, rewarding and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work, plan and communicate effectively as part of a friendly and supportive team.
