We are a nurturing, child‑led Forest School nursery dedicated to inspiring curiosity, resilience, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning through outdoor experiences. Our setting provides high‑quality early years education in a natural environment where children are encouraged to explore, take supported risks, and develop confidence through play. We are now looking for an experienced, passionate, and inspirational Nursery Manager to lead our dedicated team and continue to develop our outstanding provision. Working 4 days per week 7:30am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday with set day off every week (42 hours per week).
The Treehouse Club is a Forestry Nursery and Out of School Club chain in the heart of Essex. Operating for 14 years, we have grown to 12 settings including Nurseries, Preschools, After‑School and Holiday clubs and are looking to expand further.
Responsibilities- Promote a consistent approach working towards our vision and mission, improving the quality of learning and development across the settings.
- Lead the team in providing high standards of care and education for the children.
- Lead Ofsted inspections and work with local authorities as required.
- Support and develop staff, carrying out regular supervisions and implementing improvement plans.
- Oversee health and safety, ensuring the setting meets all EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
- Review and manage the setting budget and spend appropriately.
- Review the setting development plans, targets and update accordingly.
- Provide the team with regular training updates and ensure completion of mandatory training.
- Monitor and promote equality and diversity within the team and setting.
- Lead the nursery’s self‑evaluation and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with other Managers, Area Managers and Directors on best practice and business updates.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as directed.
