Position Summary

The SLP will provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children in our inclusive classrooms. This professional will work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to implement individualized speech/language goals and help ensure each child reaches their full communication potential. We are also accepting SLP Clinical Fellowship! This position will work both on site, as well as service children off site!

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language screenings and assessments for preschool children
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Provide direct therapy sessions and small-group interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding progress and strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and CPSE processes

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Bachelor's degree accepted for fellowship position)
  • Valid NYS License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • A compassionate, child-centered mindset
