What Is the Opportunity? We’re excited to be hiring for an Associate Claims Operations Professional to join our team based in Redhill, London, Manchester, or Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to kick-start a career in the insurance industry. We’re looking for an individual with strong communication and organisational skills, and confidence using Excel. In this role, you'll support our claims function—harvesting claims data, streamlining processes, and handling administrative tasks like setting up new claims. You’ll be part of a collaborative team gaining exposure in the claims function and the wider insurance industry. Travelers Europe offers flexibility for hybrid work arrangements, typically three days in the office and two days at home, subject to policy changes.
What Will You Do?
- Perform administrative tasks, partial claim handling, invoice approval, minor claim adjudication, and vendor coordination.
- Assist with MI and Analytics, financial control, assessment, monitoring, and validation.
- Support Claim teams across multiple locations to ensure operational resiliency.
- Meet or exceed service expectations for internal and external customers.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients to achieve organizational goals.
- Communicate actions and updates clearly with managers and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Act ethically, complete all required training, and adhere to compliance and regulatory standards, ensuring fair treatment of customers and maintaining records of transactions.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Relevant work experience in a general insurance claims department or support role (preferred).
- Knowledge of I90, Openbox, Lloyds claims systems (preferred).
- Experience with data entry processes (preferred).
- Basic customer relationship skills.
- Intermediate communication skills (written and oral).
- Willingness to meet local minimum competency requirements or pursue relevant certifications.
