The predicted salary is between 28000 - 42000 £ per year.

Working with the travel division, day to day duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Externally source leads, as well as engaging with referred Large Group Private Aviation Clients, to build a List of Repeat Travel Customers.
  • Demonstrate an expert understanding of the most suitable Group Travel Products for each customer, and make suitable recommendations.
  • Manage group travel bookings from initial enquiry to completion, and collaborate with other company departments to ensure best possible experience for our customers.
  • Take a “Customer First” attitude, and full ownership of our Customers In-Destination Experience (may involve working outside of regular hours to ensure all customer trips run successfully).
  • Maintain relationships with repeat clients, and pro‑actively manage your customer list through outbound sales calls, emails and visits (both face‑to‑face and virtual).
  • Work towards exceeding daily, monthly & annual goals linked to both productivity and financial targets.
  • Able to collaborate, work as part of a team, and contribute towards a wider group collective.
  • Follow company procedure in a methodical and chronological way to ensure protection of both TTD and your clients.
  • Work productively in what can sometimes be a pressurised environment, making prompt and clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks.
  • Represent the Business externally at events with suppliers, customers & wider industry peers.

Qualifications

  • Very clear written & verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Extensive knowledge of major global destinations and travel products, and an up to date understanding of latest tourism trends.
  • Someone with a high aptitude and passion for sales, ideally with a track record from previous Travel Industry role.
  • An organised & disciplined attitude towards workload and time management, balancing multiple factors at any one time, is very important.
  • A willingness to commit to the demands of the role – including (where necessary) working outside of regular working hours to get the job done.
  • Ability to work independently, but also able to collaborate with people inside and outside of both The Travel Division and the wider parent company.
  • Somebody who enjoys working to both individual and team goals/objectives, within a friendly and competitive environment.
  • Previous experience of working on a GDS (ideally Amadeus) is desirable.
  • Previous experience of booking and managing Groups within the Travel Industry is desirable.
