POSITION SUMMARY
TTC Tech is seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Technology Project Manager to lead the Longitude Replacement project, a major transformation initiative focused on replacing a critical legacy reservation platform for the Uniworld River Cruise brand, with a modern, scalable off-the-shelf solution (iTravel Cruise). The Longitude platform is currently a bespoke implementation that supports core business capabilities across reservations, inventory, pricing, customer servicing and operational processes for Uniworld. Its replacement will require close coordination across technology, product, operations, finance, data, architecture and external delivery partners. Reporting to the Head of PMO and working under the strategic direction of the VP Technology for Uniworld, the successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership across the full project lifecycle, from mobilisation and detailed planning through design, build, integration, data migration, testing, implementation and operational transition.

This role requires someone with demonstrable experience delivering complex enterprise technology, reservation, booking, ERP, CRM, transactional platform or legacy system replacement projects. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating across multiple workstreams, managing significant dependencies and translating strategic direction into a clear, controlled and executable delivery plan. The Project Manager will be accountable for delivering the project to agreed scope, time and budget while ensuring that technology outputs translate into operational readiness, measurable business value and realise the benefits committed in the business case.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End-to-End Project Delivery
Lead the Longitude Replacement project from mobilisation and planning through design, build, integration, data migration, testing, deployment, hypercare and value realisation.
  • Integrated Planning, Scope, Schedule & Budget Control
Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, milestones, roadmap and critical path, managing delivery against agreed scope, timeline, resources and budget.
  • Technical Coordination
Coordinate delivery across architecture, product, engineering, integration, infrastructure, security, data and operational teams, ensuring technical decisions and dependencies are visible, understood and managed.
  • Data Migration & Reconciliation
Oversee the development and execution of the data migration strategy, including data cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, mock migrations and final cutover.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership
Mobilise and lead matrixed delivery teams across Technology, Product, Operations, Finance, Data, Customer Service and the wider business, ensuring clear accountability and delivery momentum.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Build trusted relationships with sponsors, senior stakeholders and external delivery partners, holding all parties accountable for agreed outcomes, quality, deliverables and timelines.
  • Governance, Reporting & Delivery Methodology
Apply TTC Tech’s PDLC and the appropriate Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approach, maintaining accurate reporting, RAID logs, change control, decisions and financial updates for PMO and executive forums.
  • Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, technical dependencies, resource constraints and critical decisions, ensuring timely escalation and effective mitigation.
  • Testing, Cutover & Operational Readiness
Coordinate system, integration, regression, performance and user acceptance testing, alongside training, business readiness, cutover planning, go-live and hypercare.
  • Benefits & Continuous Improvement
Ensure the new platform delivers measurable improvements in scalability, resilience, operational efficiency and customer experience while contributing to improvements in TTC Tech’s delivery practices.

KEY INDIVIDUAL TRAITS

  • Strong Leadership & Ownership - Takes accountability for delivery and actively drives decisions, actions and issue resolution.
  • Stakeholder Influence - Able to engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders, securing alignment and timely decisions.
  • Calm Under Pressure - Operates effectively in high-pressure environments involving ambiguity, changing priorities and critical delivery deadlines.
  • Communication & Gravitas - Communicates clearly and credibly with executives, sponsors, delivery teams and third-party partners.
  • Attention to Detail - Maintains reliable project plans, governance, financial tracking, actions, risks, dependencies and decision records.
