A key part of the role will be maintaining and enhancing data feeds from Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.10 into FCCS, including mappings, interfaces, metadata and dimension changes. The role may also involve creating or improving interfaces into FCCS as business requirements evolve.

There will also be opportunities to work closely with the wider Oracle ERP Support Team, as most of the data loaded into the EPM system is derived from Oracle E-Business Suite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day technical administration of Oracle FCCS, including system configuration, user access, security and role management.
  • Maintaining and updating FCCS dimensions, including entity, account, movement, intercompany and custom dimensions, hierarchy changes, metadata updates and mapping changes.
  • Maintaining, troubleshooting and improving data integrations between Oracle FCCS and Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
  • Supporting and, where required, helping to create new data feeds or interfaces into FCCS.
  • Troubleshooting FCCS data load failures, mapping issues, missing metadata, reconciliation differences and system performance issues.
  • Supporting business process changes related to financial consolidation, reporting and close activities.
  • Designing, maintaining and enhancing financial reports, dashboards and Smart View reporting to support Finance requirements.
  • Providing technical support to users across FCCS, Freeform Essbase, data loads, reporting, integrations and close-cycle activities.
  • Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities from a system and data perspective, ensuring accuracy and timely issue resolution.
  • Working with Finance, IT and ERP teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and stronger system governance.
  • Supporting the future implementation of EPBCS and wider Oracle EPM roadmap activities.

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on technical Oracle EPM experience, especially across FCCS, dimensions, data integrations and Essbase.

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM tools.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS, ideally including technical administration, configuration, metadata, dimensions, data loads and reporting.
  • Experience maintaining or changing FCCS dimensions, including entity, account, movement, intercompany and custom dimensions.
  • Experience creating, maintaining or troubleshooting data feeds/interfaces from Oracle ERP or other source systems into FCCS.
  • Experience with Oracle Freeform Essbase or Essbase-related support, including cubes, metadata, data loads, reporting, security or performance issues.
  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation and close processes, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation and multi-currency reporting.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-entity, multi-currency and multi-location environments.
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 integration with EPM/FCCS would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong SQL, Excel and financial data management skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • The ability to operate in an IT-led support environment while partnering closely with Finance users.

Technical Skills

  • Oracle EPM Cloud architecture and FCCS functionality.

How to prepare for a job interview at The Travel Corporation

Brush Up on Your Technical Skills

For an IT consulting role, be ready to demonstrate your technical prowess. You might face questions on systems integration, cloud technologies, or even troubleshooting specific software. If you have experience with tools like AWS, Azure, or even specific programming languages, make sure you can talk about them fluently.

Showcase Your Problem-Solving Approach

IT consulting is all about solving problems for clients. Think about how you can illustrate your approach to a past challenge using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). It's a great way to show how you tackle complex issues and come up with effective solutions.

Be prepared with examples that demonstrate your adaptability, communication skills, and how you handle client feedback. Before the interview, think of situations where you worked closely with clients to create effective IT strategies or changes.
