The Role
The Oracle EPM System Administrator will be responsible for the ongoing configuration, maintenance, support and improvement of Oracle FCCS, Freeform Essbase and related financial reporting systems. This person will work closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to support consolidation, reporting and close processes, while ensuring data accuracy, system performance and effective user support. There will also be opportunities to work closely with the wider Oracle ERP Support Team, as much of the data loaded into the EPM system is derived from Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.10.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day administration of Oracle FCCS, including user access, security and role management.
- Supporting business process changes related to financial consolidation, reporting and close activities.
- Troubleshooting system issues, monitoring performance and implementing fixes where needed.
- Maintaining and improving data integrations and mappings between Oracle FCCS and Oracle R12.
- Designing and maintaining financial reports and dashboards to support business requirements.
- Providing technical support and training to end users across FCCS, Essbase functionality, data loads and reporting.
- Supporting the future implementation of EPBCS and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
About You
We’re looking for someone with strong technical Oracle EPM experience, combined with a good understanding of financial consolidation and close processes. You will ideally bring:
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM tools.
- Experience with Oracle FCCS and Freeform Essbase.
- At least 2–3 full lifecycle FCCS implementations.
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation and accounting standards such as IFRS or GAAP.
- Experience working in complex, multi-currency and multi-location environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite integration would be highly beneficial.
- Strong SQL, Excel and financial data management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills
Experience with the following would be highly advantageous:
- Oracle EPM Cloud architecture and FCCS functionality.
- Oracle Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio and Narrative Reporting.
- EPM Automate.
- Groovy scripting.
- REST APIs and SOAP APIs.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and cloud security best practices.
- Python or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with EDMCS or other Oracle EPM tools.
- Oracle EPM Cloud certification would also be desirable.
