About The Travel Corporation

At The Travel Corporation (TTC), we enrich lives by connecting people and places. For more than 100 years, we've been creating travel experiences that build lasting memories, meaningful cultural connections and unforgettable journeys. Today, our family of award-winning travel brands operates across more than 70 countries and continues to inspire people to explore the world.

As our business continues to evolve and transform, we're looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join our global Legal team and help support a wide range of commercial, corporate and strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, this is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of a global organisation during a period of significant commercial activity and transformation.

Working across multiple jurisdictions, you'll provide practical legal support on:

  • Commercial contracts
  • Corporate transactions
  • Governance activities
  • Intellectual property matters
  • Strategic business initiatives

This role is well suited to a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys variety, can operate independently and is comfortable balancing legal risk with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial agreements.
  • Support strategic partnerships, procurement, technology and transformation projects.
  • Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury and Company Secretarial teams on key workstreams.
  • Advise stakeholders on legal, compliance and risk-related matters.
  • Contribute to policy development and governance frameworks.
  • Manage external legal counsel and legal spend where required.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years' post-qualification experience gained in private practice, in-house or a combination of both.
  • Strong commercial contracting experience across a broad range of agreements.
  • Able to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice.
  • Experience within travel, tourism, hospitality or other consumer-facing industries.
  • Exposure to private equity-owned businesses or post-acquisition integration programmes.
  • Additional language skills relevant to TTC's international markets.

Few in-house legal roles offer exposure to this breadth of work within a global organisation. From commercial partnerships and business transformation to corporate structuring and intellectual property, you'll play a visible role in shaping the future of the business. You'll work directly with the Chief Legal Officer, collaborate with senior leaders across the Group and contribute to initiatives that have a genuine impact on TTC's growth and long-term success.

If you're looking for a role that combines commercial impact, international exposure and genuine variety, we'd love to hear from you.
