Junior AI Product Manager

Location: Victoria, London, 2 days/week in office, 3 days remote

AI is no longer on the horizon for us; it’s already in production, in beta, and in the pipeline. We’re looking for someone to help us build what comes next.

The role

This is not your typical graduate scheme. You’ll be joining a lean, fast‑moving AI product team and taking on real ownership from day one. Some of the products you’ll work on are already live and serving customers. Others are in beta. Some are still just ideas waiting for the right person to pick them up and run with them. You’ll report directly to the AI Product Lead and work closely with product teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders across multiple TTC brands. You’ll be expected to get your hands dirty, building prototypes, writing specs, running experiments, and helping translate complex AI capabilities into experiences that genuinely improve how we operate and how our travellers experience the world. What you’ll do

• Work with AI tools
• Spend time being hands‑on with productionised AI tools, prompting models, evaluating outputs, identifying failure modes and iterating on prompts to achieve behaviour that is production‑ready
• Support continuous improvement cycles
• Support the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI products, from discovery and scoping through to deployment and iteration
• Contribute to product roadmaps across live, beta, and early‑stage AI initiatives
• Support engineers (internal and external) to develop these initiatives
• Build lightweight prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to test ideas quickly
• Run structured experiments and document learnings to inform product decisions

Stakeholder collaboration

• Work with brand teams, operations, and commercial stakeholders across TTC’s portfolio to understand problems worth solving
• Translate fuzzy business challenges into crisp AI product opportunities
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade‑offs clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Who We’re Looking For

We’re being deliberately open on experience. That said, you will need to bring a few things to the table:

• A genuine curiosity about AI and how it works – you should be someone who experiments in their own time, not just on the clock
• Solid technical grounding – you don’t need to be a software engineer, but you must understand how AI systems (LLMs, APIs, model pipelines) work and be able to hold your own in a conversation with engineers
• Experience building something with AI, even informally – a side project, a hackathon entry, a personal tool
• Comfortable with ambiguity – this role involves navigating incomplete information and making sensible calls
• Strong written and verbal communication – ability to write clearly, present ideas, and adapt your message for different audiences
• Organised and accountable – you’ll be managing multiple workstreams and will need to stay on top of them
• Degree‑level education – discipline is less important than evidence of analytical thinking

Nice to Have

• Experience with website development
• Experience with live chat implementations
• Any experience in product, UX, data, or tech – internships, placements, projects all count
• A genuine interest in travel – it helps to care about the problem you’re solving
