Evan Evans Tours, part of The Travel Corporation (TTC), is the UK’s leading day tour operator. Since 1930, we’ve offered unforgettable sightseeing experiences across London, Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath, Edinburgh, and Paris. Our head office also serves as a passenger departure lounge for many of our tours.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Welcome and check in guests.
- Answer guest and walk-in inquiries, including booking tours.
- Ensure guides and drivers arrive on time; escalate issues to the Operations team.
- Keep the front desk and lounge areas neat, with brochures and refreshments available.
- Order stationery and office supplies.
- Maintain kitchen stocks (tea, coffee, milk, etc.).
- Organize office cleaners and ensure office tidiness.
- Manage incoming mail and deliveries.
- Conduct daily health & safety checks.
- Perform weekly fire and panic alarm tests.
- Arrange First Aid and Fire Marshal training.
- Support the Line Manager with CSR reports and communication.
- Assist with event planning and execution.
- Help the Ops Team with daily reports as needed.
- Occasionally support as a Guest Service Assistant on tour.
About you!
We’re looking for a proactive, organized, and customer-focused individual with:
- Experience as a receptionist or office coordinator
- Strong customer service skills, including handling difficult situations with professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with office equipment (printers, photocopiers, etc.)
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and stay organized
- A reliable and professional approach
- Additional language skills (a plus, but not required!)
