POSITION SUMMARY

This is an opportunity to lead a high-profile, time-critical content project at the heart of a major brand launch. As Content Project Manager, you will take ownership of a scaled rewrite of a large travel product catalogue, coordinating a copy editor, CMS editor, Production team members, and travel specialists to deliver quality content on time and within budget. You will manage delivery of tiered content rewrites across the full product range ahead of launch, preparing the team for a complete post-launch rewrite to bring all remaining content up to the new brand standard.

The project covers a rewrite of IV and CS travel product catalogues, structured in tiers to prioritise the highest-impact content for launch:

Phase 1 (May – September 2026)

  • Top sellers (20% of the catalogue) receive a full rewrite.
  • A further 30% of the catalogue receives a partial rewrite, covering descriptions and brand language.
  • The remaining 50% receives a light optimisation of brand language and SEO.

All rewritten content is checked by the Travel Experiences team, uploaded to the CMS, and validated ahead of launch.

Phase 2 (October 2026)

Prepare team plan for a full rewrite of all remaining itineraries not completed in Phase 1, aligned to new brand standards, and align with Production team to scope new imagery requirements to match brand briefs across the product range.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the end-to-end project plan across both phases of the programme.
  • Build and maintain the project board in Monday.com, ensuring full visibility of tasks, owners and deadlines.
  • Track progress against milestones and proactively manage risks and blockers.
  • Ensure all content is approved and ready ahead of the brand launch date.
  • Scope and hire a small temporary workforce within the approved budget, including a Copy Editor, Content Coordinator and Image Editor (to be coordinated with Production Lead).
  • Coordinate and onboard approximately 10 Travel Experience team members, including Travel Director specialists, to support content checking (to be coordinated with GM Travel Experiences).
  • Manage day-to-day workflows across the full project team, keeping everyone aligned and on track.
  • Manage resourcing and delivery costs within the agreed budget.
  • Track expenditure and flag any risk of overrun promptly.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact across all content workstreams.
  • Provide clear, regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Escalate decisions and risks in a timely and structured way.
  • Oversee the upload and QA of all content in the C1 Content Management System.
  • Develop and document the content workflow for the post-launch phase, ensuring it can be sustained and handed over effectively.
  • Ensure all output meets the SEO and brand standards defined for each tier of the rewrite.

ROLE SUCCESS CRITERIA

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-workstream content or editorial projects.
  • Strong resource planning and budget management skills.
  • Experience building and managing project boards in Monday.com or a comparable tool.
  • Ability to onboard, brief and coordinate a mixed team of permanent staff and contractors.
