The Role
The Oracle EPM System Administrator / FCCS Developer will be responsible for the ongoing technical configuration, maintenance, support and improvement of Oracle FCCS, Freeform Essbase and related financial reporting systems. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to support consolidation, reporting and close processes, while ensuring data accuracy, system performance, reliable integrations and effective user support.
A key part of the role will be maintaining and enhancing data feeds from Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.10 into FCCS, including mappings, interfaces, metadata and dimension changes. The role may also involve creating or improving interfaces into FCCS as business requirements evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day technical administration of Oracle FCCS, including system configuration, user access, security and role management.
- Maintaining and updating FCCS dimensions, including entity, account, movement, intercompany and custom dimensions, hierarchy changes, metadata updates and mapping changes.
- Maintaining, troubleshooting and improving data integrations between Oracle FCCS and Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
- Supporting and, where required, helping to create new data feeds or interfaces into FCCS.
- Troubleshooting FCCS data load failures, mapping issues, missing metadata, reconciliation differences and system performance issues.
- Supporting business process changes related to financial consolidation, reporting and close activities.
- Designing, maintaining and enhancing financial reports, dashboards and Smart View reporting to support Finance requirements.
- Providing technical support to users across FCCS, Freeform Essbase, data loads, reporting, integrations and close-cycle activities.
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities from a system and data perspective, ensuring accuracy and timely issue resolution.
- Working with Finance, IT and ERP teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and stronger system governance.
- Supporting the future implementation of EPBCS and wider Oracle EPM roadmap activities.
About You
We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on technical Oracle EPM experience, especially across FCCS, dimensions, data integrations and Essbase.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM tools.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS, ideally including technical administration, configuration, metadata, dimensions, data loads and reporting.
- Experience maintaining or changing FCCS dimensions, including entity, account, movement, intercompany and custom dimensions.
- Experience creating, maintaining or troubleshooting data feeds/interfaces from Oracle ERP or other source systems into FCCS.
- Experience with Oracle Freeform Essbase or Essbase-related support, including cubes, metadata, data loads, reporting, security or performance issues.
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation and close processes, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation and multi-currency reporting.
- Experience working in complex, multi-entity, multi-currency and multi-location environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 integration with EPM/FCCS would be highly beneficial.
- Strong SQL, Excel and financial data management skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to operate in an IT-led support environment while partnering closely with Finance users.
