The Role
To secure availability for all Transport requirements and to negotiate best possible prices and conditions for the TTC group business within the EMEA region. To ensure the services provided are of the quality and the standard required, as well as maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments through excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the transport services sourced are of the standard and quality required
- Negotiate transport services prices, terms and conditions
- Be responsible for coach services and drivers’ quality checks
- Manage and resolve any issues by liaising proactively with suppliers and internal departments
- Responsible for handling 'live' on the road emergencies
- Ensure accurate information and updates on transport services are promptly communicated to internal departments and suppliers
- Deliver within clearly defined deadlines
- Communicate clearly at all levels and with internal departments to make sure that information is received and properly processed
- Follow departmental or team guidelines and procedures
- Prioritize workload according to deadline always ensuring high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain an environment which supports the spirit of teamwork and where team members are committed, loyal and take pride in working for the company
Requirements
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Additional European Languages highly desirable (Italian, German, French)
- Strong organizational skills, planning and good time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Proactive thinker capable of working under pressure
- Approachable manner with both colleagues, internal departments and suppliers
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Must be self-motivated, positive, confident and results driven
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Office Apps an advantage
