As the P&C Assistant within our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the administration functions of the department, providing a comprehensive and proactive service across The Travel Corporation and assisting the team in delivering day-to-day processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of P&C system (HiBob), including employment contracts, contractual change letters, leavers letters, and all employee documents.
  • Manage a shared inbox, responding to employee queries in a timely, polite, and helpful manner. Ensure employees have access to TTC\’s benefits, prepare internal communications, and keep the intranet updated.
  • Support recruitment by posting job ads internally and externally as required.
  • Liaise with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely information transfer, meeting payroll deadlines.
  • Support and conduct P&C conversations with team members and managers.
  • Coordinate and organise social events and health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assist in scheduling, collating, and publicising quarterly training plans and monthly training calendars, and assign compliance training on our LMS while handling ad-hoc queries (recording training attendance).
  • Source, manage, and advertise CSR and volunteering opportunities.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests and projects as needed.
  • Support the team by taking accurate minutes of sensitive meetings, including grievance, disciplinary, performance, and attendance management.
  • Maintain accurate P&C database and employee personal files. Support payroll processes by creating and updating employee records.
  • Stay informed about legal requirements and industry best practices to ensure HR policies and procedures comply with relevant regulations.

Experience

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills with great attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator at all levels (written and verbal), with the ability to build good relationships.
  • Reliable, accurate in following guidance, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, innovative, and committed to adding value.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
