HAGGiS Adventures and Highland Explorer Tours (part of Radical Travel Group) are on the hunt for new Driver Guides who are enthusiastic and energetic, with a passion for Scotland. Our Driver-Guides love Scotland to the max. Scotland’s scenery speaks for itself, but these legends take our passengers’ experience to the next level. We train our guides to be the best. We are looking for people who will be passionate about showing-off our epic wee country to visitors. Imagine your office being an ever-changing scenic environment; from forest to beach, Highlands to Islands.

Important Information

  • Immediate full-time/permanent starts are available (minimum 40 hours/week).
  • FULL PCV training can be provided, but you'll need a valid UK licence and passport for this position.
  • Contracts available - full-time, part-time, ad-hoc, flexible, hybrid roles.
  • Schedules vary - 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts. Combination of day shifts, holidays, and weekends.

Role Overview

Represent the company delivering all aspects of our tour programme to domestic and international customers. This includes public speaking and delivery of information in an entertaining and engaging manner. Tours vary from one day to eight days so nights away from home will be required. You should have a passion for Scotland, be able to deliver excellent customer service and have an outgoing and welcoming personality. A full time, permanent contract but part-time or flexible patterns may be available.

Salary and Work Pattern

  • A salary of ÂŁ28,000 to ÂŁ32,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits per annum.
  • Supplemental pay types e.g. bonus scheme, commission pay, tips.
  • Average of 40 hours per week. Work pattern Monday to Sunday. Hours generally between 6.00am and 9.30pm. Monthly rota in advance.
  • 28 days paid holidays per annum, plus an additional day for each year worked (maximum of 5 days).
