Your next chapter
Travel Chapter represents more than 15,000 holiday homes across the UK and uses in‑house technology to deliver a seamless guest and homeowner experience. Salesforce plays a central role across sales, service, operations and marketing activities and underpins key customer touchpoints.
We are now looking for a Salesforce Technical Team Lead to take ownership of the platform’s day‑to‑day operations while helping to drive its next phase of maturity. This role blends delivery, people management and product thinking. It will suit someone who enjoys improving how Salesforce is used across a business rather than purely providing ticket‑based support.
What you will be doing:
- Leading, mentoring and developing our internal Salesforce team (currently three Administrators)
- Prioritising and allocating BAU, roadmap and support requests
- Acting as the escalation point for technical queries and incident resolution
- Translating business needs into scalable solutions and sensible delivery plans
- Overseeing design, build, test and deployment cycles across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Managing enhancements, platform releases and integrations with third‑party tools
- Improving platform performance, adoption, data quality and operational processes
- Ensuring best practice across security, governance, CI/CD and documentation
- Working closely with cross‑functional teams to champion continuous improvement
- Supporting the Head of Salesforce with roadmap planning and platform evolution
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in a Salesforce Technical Lead, Senior Admin, Product Owner or similar role
- Strong technical understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration and APIs
- Hands‑on experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
- Track record of leading or coordinating Salesforce workstreams or small teams
- Experience working across development cycles, deployments and integrations
- Confident stakeholder management and the ability to balance competing demands
- A practical and hands‑on approach to problem solving
It would be great if you also have:
- Salesforce certifications such as Admin, Platform App Builder or Platform Developer
- Experience working with developers or offshore partners
- Exposure to Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Experience Cloud
- Knowledge of version control and CI/CD tools (for example Git)
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
Who you are:
- A practical leader who can coach, improve and unblock a team
- Motivated by improving how work gets done rather than only completing tasks
- Comfortable switching between product conversations and technical detail
- Collaborative, adaptable and proactive
- Someone who cares about the end user and the value Salesforce delivers
