Your next chapter
At Travel Chapter, we’re proud to be a B Corp and a people first business. Our Product Engineering team plays a key role in shaping exceptional digital experiences for our guests, and we’re now looking for a Senior Product Owner to join us. This is a key leadership role within our product function, where you’ll operate across both team and domain level. You’ll take ownership of the Guest Experience domain, shaping the roadmap and ensuring a clear connection from strategy through to delivery. Alongside this, you’ll line manage and develop a small group of Product Owners, playing a central role in strengthening product capability, consistency and impact across teams. Working closely with engineers, QA, Product Managers and the Head of Product, you’ll bring clarity to what we build and why. You’ll connect day‑to‑day delivery to strategic outcomes, using data and insight to guide decisions, measure value and continuously improve how we work. This is a great opportunity to not only shape meaningful products, but to influence how product operates and evolves at Travel Chapter.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead, develop and support a small team of Product Owners, with full accountability for regular 1:1s, performance, coaching and ongoing development.
- Act as a senior voice within the product function, helping to embed and evolve our product operating model alongside the Head of Product.
- Influence and shape the roadmap for your domain, ensuring alignment from strategic intent through to team backlogs.
- Maintain a clear and consistent connection between strategy, roadmap and delivery, ensuring all product work contributes to defined outcomes.
- Turn ideas, requests and goals into clear, actionable problem statements grounded in real user needs.
- Partner with Product Managers to ensure roadmaps are outcome‑focused, not just output‑driven.
- Define meaningful success metrics and use data to inform decisions, validate assumptions and measure the value delivered.
- Ensure sprint delivery contributes to measurable progress against agreed outcomes.
- Maintain clear, transparent and well‑structured product artefacts including roadmaps, PRDs and backlogs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and QA to deliver high quality, impactful outcomes at a sustainable pace.
- Communicate clearly and with purpose, helping teams and stakeholders understand what we’re building and why it matters.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner or operating at a senior level within Agile delivery environments.
- Strong people leadership experience, including line management, coaching and developing others to improve performance and capability.
- Experience owning a product domain, with clear accountability for roadmap direction and delivery alignment.
- A strong outcome‑focused mindset, with the ability to connect product work to measurable customer and business impact.
- Confidence using data to inform decisions, define success and evaluate performance.
- Strong experience working within cross‑functional teams alongside engineers, QA and delivery roles.
- Skilled at problem framing and writing clear, outcome‑focused product documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence and create shared understanding across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative and curious mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity while maintaining momentum and making decisions.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience working on guest‑facing or customer‑facing digital products, ideally in travel or e‑commerce.
- Previous experience coaching or mentoring Product Owners.
- Experience contributing to or shaping product operating models and ways of working.
What you can expect from us
- Remote‑first working with genuine flexibility to support work life balance.
- A collaborative, inclusive team culture where coaching, learning and continuous improvement are actively encouraged.
- The opportunity to lead both people and product, with real influence over how we shape and deliver our product experience.
- The chance to work on impactful digital products that shape the guest experience across the UK.
- Competitive salary and benefits package, including our employee voucher scheme and a range of wellbeing perks.
If you’re looking for a role where you can combine product leadership with hands‑on delivery, while developing others and shaping how product works, we’d love to hear from you.
