Travel Chapter is looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our team, based from our Saxmundham office. This role offers a great mix of independence, variety and pace. Saxmundham will be your base for equipment, vans and team connection, while your day‑to‑day work will be split between working from home and visiting our managed properties across the local area. No two days look the same in this role. One day you may be fixing a maintenance issue, the next carrying out preventative checks, supporting homeowners, or keeping outdoor spaces looking their best. If you enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving on the go and a role where you can see the impact of your work every day, this could be the perfect fit. You will need to be a confident driver. A branded company van will be provided for business use only.

- Completing low-level gardening and outdoor upkeep, including mowing and basic grounds maintenance
- Taking a proactive, preventative approach to maintenance, identifying and resolving issues before they escalate

- Liaising directly with homeowners and guests, providing reassurance, updates and practical solutions
- Supporting our out‑of‑hours on‑call rota between 5:00pm – 9:00pm, with overtime and retainer paid
