Your next chapter

Travel Chapter is the holiday home people. We connect guests to incredible places to stay across the UK and help homeowners share the places they love most. As a certified B Corp, we care about doing things the right way for our people, our communities and our planet.

We are now creating a new senior role that will take ownership of social as a strategic brand and growth channel. If you are someone who lives and breathes social, instinctively understands platforms and trends, and knows how to turn creativity into commercial value, this could be the role you have been waiting for.

What will I be doing

  • Owning and evolving our social strategy
  • Positioning social as a core brand and growth channel
  • Defining how our brands show up on social including tone, platforms, formats and cultural relevance
  • Developing content approaches that inspire, entertain and convert
  • Building social search optimisation across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube to drive discovery, saves and shares
  • Designing the right operating model (in-house, agency and creator partnerships)
  • Establishing success measures that connect social to brand growth, demand and homeowner acquisition
  • Using insights, sentiment and performance data to shape content and creative decisions
  • Collaborating with creative, product, technology, performance and wider marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns and scale social-first creative campaigns
  • Spotting opportunities through creators, partnerships and brand moments
  • Acting as an advocate for social internally and influencing ambition at senior level

What will I bring

  • Proven experience leading social at scale in a brand-led or consumer-facing environment
  • A chronically social mindset with a deep understanding of platforms, formats and culture
  • Strong commercial instinct and the ability to demonstrate impact through data
  • Experience building or evolving a social function and managing agencies and partners
  • Excellent instincts for storytelling, content, brand and culture
  • Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and guiding strategic direction
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership

A love for the UK and its culture is an advantage. From coastlines and countryside to cities and hidden gems, the ability to celebrate what makes the UK special will help our brands shine on social. Not essential, but it will set you apart.

How we work

This is a hybrid role. You will spend regular time with the team in our office. We expect in-person collaboration at least once per week and can support travel and accommodation as part of your offer if required.

Why Travel Chapter

Joining Travel Chapter means joining a business that genuinely cares about its people, its customers and its impact. You will have the opportunity to build a function from the ground up, influence how we show up on social and make a visible difference to how our brands connect with audiences across the UK. There is room here to experiment, push creativity and shape something meaningful with the backing of a business that invests in long-term brand growth.
