As Senior Pigment Analyst, you own Trainline's FP&A platform and drive the end-to-end model architecture and governance. You will build and maintain Pigment models supporting budget, forecast, and performance packs, while automating reporting and enabling self-service for commercial partners. You collaborate with Data and Engineering to ensure clean data flows and communicate complex platform concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This is a pivotal role in Trainline's finance transformation, offering hands-on influence over reporting automation and analysis that shapes growth.

Pay / Benefits

  • Develop and maintain Pigment models supporting budgeting, rolling forecast, monthly close packs, and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Automate reporting workflows to replace workbook-based processes and free up time for value-adding analysis.
  • Design self-service tools enabling Commercial Finance partners to run scenarios independently.
  • Stay updated with Pigment roadmap and lead testing/rollout of new features (e.g., Modeler Agent, AI-assisted builds).
  • Collaborate with Data and Engineering teams to ensure reliable data flows into Pigment and alignment with broader data infrastructure.
  • Translate complex platform concepts for non-technical stakeholders and manage delivery expectations.
  • Document and improve model governance, testing, data validation, and audit trails.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical platform solutions.
  • Clear, confident communication to non-technical stakeholders and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Methodical, detail-oriented approach with governance and documentation discipline.
  • Ideally FP&A or commercial finance experience and understanding of budgeting/forecasting cycles.
  • Experience automating reporting workflows and familiarity with data integration/ETL concepts (Snowflake, dbt).
  • Experience in a high-growth tech business, marketplace, or consumer-facing environment (beneficial).
