As a Senior Insight and Strategy Analyst in the Corporate Strategy team at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, you will turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that shape real decisions and support our ambition to be a greener, safer and fairer borough.
Working Style
You will be based in the Borough three days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community and supporting decision makers.
Responsibilities
- Lead corporate performance reporting, coordinating submission of data and commentary.
- Develop engaging narratives and stories from data, linking technical intelligence to organisational strategy.
- Take a leading role in analytical projects, including the development of our Data Network and Data & Insight hub.
- Facilitate workshops focused on strategic thinking and collaborate with service areas to develop performance measures.
- Create dynamic intelligence products (Power BI dashboards, GIS-based tools) that anticipate and meet the needs of the Council.
- Support fellow analysts in developing their analytical and strategic skills.
Qualifications
- Degree level education or equivalent, with ongoing professional development.
- Proficiency in Power BI, GIS and advanced Excel.
- Experience working with large, unstructured datasets and advanced statistical methodologies.
- Strong analytical, storytelling and communication skills, able to explain complex data to non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive, logical problem‑solving approach and ability to act decisively in a fast‑paced environment.
