We are now looking for a Multimedia Studio Tech Manager to run the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the purpose‑built multimedia studios producing daily video and audio podcasts. This is a hands‑on role combining technical expertise and operational management to ensure that studio technology, including lighting, cameras, microphones, recording systems, and edit suites, is robust, scalable, and aligned with evolving production needs.
About the Role:- Oversee the daily operation of the multimedia studios, ensuring they are fully functional and production‑ready at all times.
- Manage and maintain all studio equipment.
- Provide hands‑on technical support during recordings when required, including studio setup, mic placement, lighting adjustments, and camera configuration.
- Plan and manage equipment lifecycle, including upgrades, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure studios comply with health and safety standards, including electrical safety, manual handling, and safe working practices.
- Lead the team of Studio Technician(s) in the UK.
- Proven experience with professional audio and/or video studios in a broadcast, podcast, or a digital media environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of audio recording and mixing, video production, camera systems and lighting for studio environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills under time pressure.
- Team leadership and line management experience.
