Salary: £39.11 per hour, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time / £25.83 per hour for meetings

About the role

Are you a passionate Counselling Tutor? Then join us to teach on our SEG Awards L3 Certificate in Counselling Skills course, helping to bring together people across London and beyond to enrich lives through learning. You will be a key contributor to our thriving Psychotherapy and Counselling department, where we have long-standing experience in offering a wide range of courses from introductory to professional levels of training and play an important role in meeting the learning needs of students and fulfilling the syllabus and accreditation requirements.

About the applicant

To be considered, please submit your CV and a covering letter outlining which course(s) you would like to be considered for, detailing your skills and experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you:

  • Have Level 2 qualifications in both Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
  • Have a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
  • Have a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent (e.g. stage 3 teaching qualification or PGCE), preferably for teaching adults plus commitment to complete further CPD or teacher training qualifications if required.
  • Have 3 years (post qualified) experience as a practicing counsellor.
  • Have experience of delivering and facilitating workshops in disciplines such as counselling and personal development.
  • Have experience of teaching (preferably adults).

The course will take place on Mondays 10:00 to 13:00 (term time only).
