The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Lecturer of A Level Psychology to join the Academic team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential for successful futures. We are seeking a passionate and committed Lecturer of A Level Psychology to join our team at the Marple campus. This is a permanent 0.6 post teaching A Level Psychology, with an additional 0.2 teaching AAQ Health and Social Care, subject to successful student recruitment in September.
The Role:
The successful candidate will demonstrate high-quality teaching, strong subject knowledge, and a genuine motivation to support all students to achieve their full potential. You will deliver the AQA A Level Psychology specification to students in both Year 12 and Year 13. High-quality teaching and learning is integral to this role, and the campus prides itself on strong value-added scores and consistently positive student outcomes. The additional AAQ Health and Social Care element will involve contributing to the delivery of an applied curriculum that develops students' knowledge, skills, and understanding of the health and social care sector. This includes supporting students to build employability skills, apply learning in vocational contexts, and prepare for progression to higher education, apprenticeships, or employment. This role will require you to deliver high quality, learner-focused education providing a quality learning experience for our students. You will be required to develop the curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable our students to succeed and thrive in their chosen subject area.
