The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Lecturer to join the Computing team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential for successful futures.
You will be teaching on Level 2 and Level 3 IT and Computing courses including T-Levels, and BTEC Nationals with the possibility to take on teaching at a higher level, dependent upon experience. You will be acting as Course Tutor to groups of students, to support them on their learning journey into successful careers in the Computing industry or onto Further or Higher Education. You will assess students in a variety of ways and prepare them for external examination too. This role will require you to deliver high quality, learner-focused education providing a quality learning experience for our students.
You will be required to develop the curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable our students to succeed and thrive in their chosen subject area. If you are passionate about education and have experience in software engineering and programming, including technologies like Java, Python, .NET, as well as knowledge in areas such as web development, computer systems, data science and cybersecurity, we encourage you to apply. Level 2 Digital and Level 3 Computing BTEC qualifications is required.
