As Learning Technology Lead, you will help turn that ambition into day-to-day practice by enabling staff to use technology confidently, purposefully and in line with our Teaching & Learning Strategy and Student Digital Entitlement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the learning technology offer across our campuses, providing expert guidance on platforms and tools that improve planning, teaching, assessment and feedback, with accessibility built-in from the start.
- Design and deliver CPD that is practical, evidence-informed and aligned to college priorities, modelling strategies that staff can lift straight into their lessons.
- Work with curriculum teams to plan, trial and evaluate high-impact digital approaches.
- Champion inclusion and assistive technologies, ensuring our digital choices remove barriers and promote learner independence.
- Lead projects and pilots that move us forward in the areas of artificial intelligence, technology to assist with assessment and virtual reality.
- Curate a high-quality digital toolkit and track adoption and impact.
- Act as a trusted specialist, advising on procurement, integrations and roadmap planning alongside Quality, IT and Curriculum leaders.
About you / Qualifications
- Strong credibility in the area of learning technology and a track record of helping colleagues improve teaching with technology.
- Up-to-date knowledge of learning platforms and AI-enhanced workflows, with a discerning, ethical approach to their use in FE.
- Great facilitation skills - able to design CPD that is hands-on, inclusive and grounded in what works.
- Change leadership - you are organised, collaborative and comfortable delivering cross-college initiatives.
- A commitment to our vision for digital entitlement and an inclusive, accessible learning experience for all.
