About the Role
The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Facilitator to be based at our Stockport and Cheadle campuses. The role is part of the Inclusion Team and you will support young people and adults with additional needs, including SEMH needs (social, emotional and mental health), helping them access education and increase their independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with tutors to facilitate the learning process for a range of courses, supporting groups and individuals with differing needs and disabilities to achieve their learning objectives.
- Support English and Maths skills using differentiation techniques and collaborate with identified students to meet objectives within Education Health Care plans.
- Respond to student enquiries and provide advice on learning opportunities and support systems.
- Co‑operate with other areas of the Group to deliver a corporate Group service.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Learning Support Qualification, or willingness to achieve within 2 years.
- Level 2 Maths and English, or willingness to work towards.
Location
Stockport and Cheadle campuses. You will operate at both sites.
