We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to develop software for new AGD products and enhance existing products with new features and improved functionality. Working predominantly in C++ and Python, your main focus will be our AI-based optical traffic detectors, while also contributing to other products across AGD.
You'll work closely with colleagues across Engineering, Verification and Commercial, taking a product-focused approach to delivering reliable, high-quality software for real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software for new and existing traffic detection products.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through to integration, testing and release.
- Take responsibility for the quality and reliability of integrated software.
- Investigate product performance and support the resolution of issues reported from products in service.
- Produce technical documentation and test evidence to support software releases.
Skills & Experience
- Strong C++ and Python software development skills.
- Experience developing software for Linux-based embedded systems and edge devices.
- Good understanding of software architecture, testing, debugging and Git version control.
- Experience delivering software through development, integration and release.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a collaborative, product-focused approach.
- Experience with image processing, AI-based image detection, OpenCV, TensorRT or device communications would be advantageous.
