Trade Recruit is delighted to be working with our client in Nottinghamshire to recruit an experienced Solar Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, self-motivated sales professional who is looking for uncapped earning potential and flexible working.
As a Solar Surveyor, you will be responsible for attending client appointments, carrying out surveys, presenting quotations, and securing sales for high-value construction projects. This role suits someone who is comfortable working independently and is driven by results.
Key Responsibilities:- Visit clients' properties to carry out initial surveys and build rapport.
- Take notes, measurements, and photos, uploading these onto the company portal.
- Contact clients to arrange presentation appointments.
- Present quotations and secure deposits during home visits.
- Follow up with potential clients where sales are not secured immediately.
- Manage your own diary and appointments effectively.
- Proven experience as a Solar Surveyor, Sales Surveyor, or Construction Sales Professional.
- A strong understanding of the building industry and ability to discuss technical details confidently with customers.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Demonstrated ability to close sales and work to targets on a commission-only basis.
- Experience carrying out property surveys, including taking measurements, notes, and photographs.
- Professional, friendly, and approachable.
- Highly organised and self-disciplined.
- Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
