With their office based in Crawley, our client is known for their professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Glazier or Skilled Multi-Trader with a strong interest in glasswork. This is a permanent position offering job security, consistent workload, and clear opportunities for progression. Whether you're an experienced Glazier or a skilled tradesperson looking to specialise, this role offers variety, structured support, and long-term development.
The Role
- You’ll be working across a mix of residential and commercial projects, carrying out:
- Measuring, cutting, fitting, and sealing various types of glass
- Installation and replacement of glazing in windows, doors, balustrades, and bespoke units
- Repairs and maintenance of existing glasswork and frames
- Installation of splashbacks, tabletops, and tilt-and-turn window systems
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Daily travel across London and Surrey (company van and fuel provided)
- Completing digital job sheets with before/after photos
- Liaising with customers and site teams professionally
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and presentation
- Participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota (additional pay applicable)
What We’re Looking For
- Essential:
- Minimum 5 years experience in glazing, carpentry, window fitting, or a similar trade
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
- Comfortable using mobile apps for work updates
- Desirable:
- Clean full UK driving licence
- Experience with specialist glasswork such as splashbacks or tabletops
