Our client is expanding rapidly in the renewable energy sector, specialising in solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging installations. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a driven Renewables Operations Manager to take ownership of installation delivery and support the long-term success of their renewables division. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced electrician or solar professional looking to step into a leadership role and shape the future of a forward-thinking and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule renewable energy installation projects
- Coordinate installation teams and allocate resources efficiently
- Organise scaffolding, materials, and subcontractors
- Liaise closely with customers before and during installations
- Conduct occasional site visits to monitor progress
- Manage G98/G99 grid connection applications
- Oversee commissioning and system handovers
- Complete installation and certification documentation
- Ensure compliance with NICEIC, MCS and all relevant electrical regulations
- Assist with annual NICEIC assessments
- Maintain high standards of health & safety across all sites
Ideal Candidate
- Essential Electrical industry experience
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and customer liaison abilities
- Comfortable coordinating installation teams and subcontractors
- Working knowledge of electrical compliance and certification
- Desirable Experience in solar PV installations
- Knowledge of G98 / G99 grid applications
- Familiarity with MCS processes
- Experience supervising installation teams
