Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in West Yorkshire. Our client is expanding rapidly in the renewable energy sector, specialising in solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging installations. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a driven Renewables Operations Manager to take ownership of installation delivery and support the long-term success of their renewables division. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced electrician or solar professional looking to step into a leadership role and shape the future of a forward-thinking and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule renewable energy installation projects
- Coordinate installation teams and allocate resources efficiently
- Organise scaffolding, materials, and subcontractors
- Liaise closely with customers before and during installations
- Conduct occasional site visits to monitor progress
- Manage G98/G99 grid connection applications
- Oversee commissioning and system handovers
- Complete installation and certification documentation
- Ensure compliance with NICEIC, MCS and all relevant electrical regulations
- Assist with annual NICEIC assessments
- Maintain high standards of health & safety across all sites
Ideal Candidate
- Essential Electrical industry experience
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and customer liaison abilities
- Comfortable coordinating installation teams and subcontractors
- Working knowledge of electrical compliance and certification
- Desirable Experience in solar PV installations
- Knowledge of G98 / G99 grid applications
- Familiarity with MCS processes
- Experience supervising installation teams
