Trade Recruit is working on behalf of a fast-growing solar energy company seeking motivated and professional Door-to-Door Solar Sales Representatives to join their expanding commercial and residential sales team. The Role

As a Solar Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business through door-to-door engagement, educating homeowners on the benefits of solar energy solutions, and converting interest into qualified appointments and sales. This is a field-based, performance-driven role with strong earning potential, ideal for individuals who are confident, resilient, and driven to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door visits across Castleford and surrounding areas
  • Generate leads and identify suitable homeowners for solar installations
  • Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings and sustainability
  • Carry out initial assessments and gather relevant customer information
  • Arrange appointments or surveys for the technical/surveying team
  • Build rapport and maintain a professional, trustworthy approach with all customers
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Accurately record all customer interactions and lead data
  • Represent the company’s brand with professionalism and integrity

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in door-to-door, field, or direct sales
  • Experience within solar, renewable energy, or home improvement sectors (highly desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, resilient, and target-driven mindset
  • Ability to engage and build trust quickly with customers
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
  • Professional approach and presentation
  • Full UK driving licence
