What we do:

The Data Support team is the go-to resource for The Trade Desk data. We help commercial teams, and their clients maximize The Trade Desk data offering, reach their target customers, and enrich data decisioning by creating bespoke custom audience segments. We are the experts in The Trade Desk data and are the go-to resource across the business. We focus on technical growth, emphasize being data-driven, and encourage creativity all while remaining focused on delivering white-glove service to our customers.

What you’ll do:

  1. Build audience segments for clients of The Trade Desk, for use within our data management platform.
  2. Consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand their targeting strategy and performance goals to identify problems and generate audience and data solutions.
  3. Assist in combining large data sets, conducting data analysis, and collecting client feedback to create optimization strategies and provide custom solutions for targeting strategies.
  4. Provide ‘white-glove’ service to stakeholders through the entire process of product/process development by acting as their key point of contact and meeting their expectations within established SLAs.
  5. Represent our company and exercise good judgement, by balancing the needs of our diverse global stakeholders to ‘do the right thing’ whilst using The Trade Desk data.
  6. Manage, troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate custom audience and data-related support requests through the company’s support ticketing system (Salesforce).
  7. Support the business with time-critical datafication and improve business operations by using cutting-edge operational research and modelling methods.
  8. Maintain responsibility for the accuracy of processes, audience creation, and data categorization; including but not limited to running, setting up checks and balances, and managing or streamlining automation, which may involve project management of cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  9. Provide high-level technical knowledge to design, implement, configure, and support the functions of key The Trade Desk Data applications, associated interfaces, and APIs.
  10. Contribute to the company and teams’ knowledge base through ensuring documentation accuracy of team systems, processes, and general knowledge.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert for data analysis methods and tools.
  12. Act as a conduit/catalyst between the Data Support Team and other TTD Teams to resolve data and audience-related issues.

Who you are:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience (0-2 years).
  2. Experience in Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets.
  3. Experience with running and writing complex SQL queries (multiple joins, temp tables, CTE, case when, nested queries, etc.).
  4. Comfortable engaging with stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
  5. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and build sound working relationships within all levels of the organization.
  6. Ability to handle sensitive information with keen attention to detail and accuracy. Passion for data handling ethics, and care for ensuring consumer privacy standards are met in all the products you develop.
  7. Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while anticipating stakeholder needs and providing assistance to meet or exceed expectations.
  8. Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty of change when assessing needs for stakeholders.
  9. Have effective time management skills which enable you to work successfully across functions in a dynamic and solution-oriented environment while meeting deadlines.
  10. Self-motivated and innovative; confident when working independently, but an excellent team player with a growth-oriented personality.
