What we do
Ad Ops is responsible for the operational success of inventory partnerships in relation to our transactions Platform.
Ad Ops partners closely with Inventory Management and Development, Technical Account Management, and Client Services to develop and maintain operational workflows and processes that benefit our buyers and sellers.
In this role, you will work with our EMEA Inventory Partnerships organization, while also coordinating on global inventory initiatives with counterparts in the US and APAC.
You should be a driven self-starter with the ability to understand and communicate operational and technical concepts to buyers, sellers, and internal teams.
In addition to serving as an operational authority, you will also help to identify new opportunities where our team can improve the overall health of our Inventory partners on the platform.
What you\'ll do
- Partner with Sr. Managers and Directors to implement ad operations strategy while coordinating strategic alignment with APAC and North America on global inventory initiatives.
- Become an authority on The Trade Desk's Publisher Management Platforms.
- Lead new & existing supply partners through testing various inventory supply and market types, directing the work Sr. complete execute on the ground.
- Meet regularly with our supply partners and strategic publishers for status updates, areas of opportunity and attention.
- Own customer concerns for supply partners on blocked spend and deal health issues that Sr. Analysts surface, resolving root cause and resolution path.
- Provide guidance on EMEA advertising and privacy regulations (e. g.
GDPR), ensuring partnership operations and deal structures align with regional requirements and advising Sr.
Analysts on compliance questions as they arise.
- Work with ad serving vendors on support of any custom creative functionality.
- Document standard processes and guidelines for activation with publishers, supply partners and ad serving vendors for the benefit of sales and strategic client teams.
- Synthesize reporting and analysis prepared by the team into actionable insights and recommendations for internal and external partners.
- Present new channels and opportunities, standards and deal activations process for internal client teams and external partners.
- Partner with Inventory leadership to implement critical initiatives into actionable plans.
- Provide feedback to our product managers and engineering team on new feature requests, beta testing and product enhancements.
- Lead the strategic roadmap and prioritization for Publisher Management Platform's deal library, setting direction for new deal structures and reviewing the audits and additions Sr.
Analysts carry out.
- Coach and develop team members, including Sr. Analysts, providing guidance on prioritization, escalation judgment, and career growth.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal clients (client and team inquiries, requests) and external partners (supply vendors and publishers).
Who you are
- BA/BS and 4+ years of experience in an operational role in digital advertising (testing tags, tracking, monitoring campaign delivery), including experience mentoring or informally guiding more junior team members.
- Expertise in working with DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of EMEA advertising and privacy regulations (e. g.
GDPR) and their implications for partnership strategy and deal structuring, with the judgment to guide the team through regional compliance questions.
- Proven experience in Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and large data sets.
- Familiarity with SQL and Business Intelligence software a plus.
- Ability to work cross functionally with product managers and other technical teams.
- Ability to self-start and independently lead and track long-term projects.
- Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills for handling multiple projects.
- Solid understanding of HTML, Rich Media, and Video/Connected TV and Audio Ad Serving.
- Customer-focused and resourceful — you define solutions at the partnership and account level and know how to secure organizational support to get things done.
Interpersonally savvy and growth-minded — you build rapport easily with senior stakeholders and cross-regional leadership, and continually seek stretch assignments to grow as a leader
