We are seeking a self-employed Housekeeper to join our small team. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and be committed to maintaining the very high standards we have in place. You must be punctual, reliable and have an eye for detail. This is a demanding physical role. We do also expect our housekeepers to be presentable and friendly to our guests. Shifts are 10:30am - 3:30pm, 2 days a week minimum. A typical shift pattern will be Friday & Sunday plus one weekday. We would like someone that is flexible but can also discuss set working patterns with the right candidate. Hourly rate depending on experience. Previous experience in hotel and/or Airbnb cleaning is essential.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors while paying attention to detail in all areas.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning products and equipment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic.
- Reliable.
- A friendly person with good communication skills, ensuring positive interactions with guests and colleagues alike.
