Location: Specialist Day Service (Brinnington, Stockport)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Full time - Permanent

Salary: £36,040 per annum | Grade 3 – Point 7

Enhancement: Time and a quarter for weekend hours worked

Reports to: Service Manager

Required Qualification: To apply for this role you must have completed a QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Flexibility: A requirement of this role is to support Team Leaders in other Trust services, when necessary, across Greater Manchester.

Working pattern: Working flexibly over 5 days. A current driving licence is required for this role, held for at least 12 months.

Specialist Day Service (Brinnington, Stockport) supports adults with autism and learning disabilities that might not suit traditional day services or a vocational path. The service designs bespoke weekly programmes for the individuals they support ensuring they have regular access to their local community, social inclusion and opportunities to develop leisure skills.

The role involves reporting to a Service Manager, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the service. You will support and develop the staff team, ensure high-quality, person-centred support is delivered, and promote safe, inclusive and empowering practice across both provisions.

Although these services are not CQC regulated, the Team Leader will ensure practice is delivered in line with sector best practice, organisational policies, safeguarding requirements and recognised quality frameworks. You will play a key role in maintaining positive cultures, supporting staff wellbeing, and ensuring the voices, choices and rights of the people we support are central to everything we do.
