About this job

£10,000 to £11,000 per year, Exceeds National Minimum Wage

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 16 hours per week, 2 days including a sleep-in. Actual shift 10am-11pm; sleep-in 11pm-7am. Weekend hours paid 25% and a sleep shift £100.80.

Working Pattern: 16 hours per week over 2 days, including a sleep-in. Shift could be on any day of the week, including weekends. Applicants must be able to undertake additional hours to cover holiday\’s.

Responsibilities

  • You will work cohesively and consistently within the team to meet the individual’s needs, encouraging independence, care planning and risk assessing.
  • You will liaise with family/carers or other stakeholders.
  • You will support adults with disabilities or complex health needs, helping them to live independently or create spaces to learn, work and play in local communities.
  • You will promote independence and inclusion within the local community through positive behaviour support.
  • You will take on extra shifts to cover holiday\’s and any additional hours.

Qualifications

  • Friendly, a great communicator and eager to provide high levels of support to adults and their families.
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently, maintaining open and honest lines of communication.
  • Must be able to work a sleep-in shift and cover holidays.
