HGV Class 2 Driver – Stoke-on-Trent – Temp to Perm
Drivers Today are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections, working Monday to Friday on day shifts. Pay is £17 per hour PAYE including holiday pay during the agency assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver seeking regular work, long-term stability and the opportunity to secure permanent employment with an established transport company.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Multi-drop pallet delivery experience preferred
- Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles
- Ability to operate tail lifts and pump trucks
- Good knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulations
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
- Willingness to commit to a long-term position with the opportunity for permanent employment
