Drivers Today are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for ongoing work with established transport companies in Stoke-on-Trent.
The position involves general haulage, trunking, RDC deliveries and collections, primarily using curtain-sided trailers.
We offer £19.00 per hour PAYE including holiday pay or LTD, regular Monday-to-Friday day shifts, typically starting around 06:00, and weekly pay.
Long-term work is available, with opportunities for nights out if desired, although these are not compulsory.

- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
- General haulage or trunking experience preferred
- Experience operating articulated vehicles and curtain-sided trailers
- Confidence with reversing, manoeuvring and coupling/uncoupling trailers
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
- Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and follow transport instructions
- Willingness to undertake regular Monday-to-Friday day shifts
